Infant/Child CPR, Choking & Safety Class

This class presents age appropriate home-proofing and safety concerns inside and outside the home from infancy to toddlerhood.
Infant/Child CPR and choking will be presented and reviewed by participants with hands-on return demonstration on sanitary, sterilized, disposable individual face shield mannequins.
Situational emergencies will be presented with discussion on an appropriate response. Topics include: creating a home first aid kit, room-by-room home safety, Back-to-Sleep & SIDS prevention, poison prevention, fire safety, water safety, choking prevention, information on proper car seat installation and so much more.
This course follows the guidelines of The American Heart Association but it is not a certification course. It is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a certification card for their work. A course completion card is given to each participant.
Safety & CPR handouts are given to
each participant for display at home and reference.
This two-hour course is ideal for new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.
