In Native American teachings, the shape of the frame drum, hoop/circle/medicine wheel, represents the circle of life and Mother Earth. The beat of the drum represents the heartbeat of the Mother herself and calls the Spirits and Nations together.Hearing or facilitating this "heartbeat" brings healing and a deeper understanding of the connection of all life. We believe the drum often helps bring physical and mental side of each of us back in touch with our spiritual side.

If you have ever desired to become a "keeper" or work with the energy of the sacred drum this is a great opportunity. Each person will instill within their drum their personal energy, prayers, wishes, intentions and love. Each participant will leave the workshop with a 16" drum created from the hide of their choice, and drumstick

We will talk in depth about sacredness of the drum, meaning of each hide that has been selected, how to use the drum as a sacred tool for ceremony or personal use,and how to care for your drum.

The workshop will be limited to the first 20 people that make the necessary deposit to reserve their spot. Selection of animal hide is necessary at the time that deposit is placed.
